Jason Momoa looks completely unrecognizable in a throwback photo to his younger days as part of the Baywatch crew.
The photo of a young Momoa from the set of Baywatch: Hawaii in 2000 has resurfaced on social media. Back then, the Aquaman star had short, curly hair sans any tattoos. Momoa gazes into camera while showing off his impressive abs accompanied by red swimming trunks.
Momoa told Square Mile that he had faked a modeling background to score his first acting role. His then-managers crowned him with the pseudo title of “Hawaii Model of the Year” accompanied with several head shots.
Momoa admits he still kept his fake modeling career on his résumé even after his time on Baywatch as he needed “something more credible.” He also opened up about his past roles, saying he had to take “pretty shit ones” just for the money.
