Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has opened to rave reviews, with Sony filing for patent over its new animation technology, which it says has pushed the envelope on what’s formerly been achieved in the animation industry. While many around the world enjoy the stunning visuals that fuse CGI with hand-drawn illustrations, the much talked-about movie won’t hit Japan until 2019.

Till then, fans have but its Japanese trailer to entertain them, which isn’t such a bad thing, considering how the dubbed version is already garnering a great deal of attention for taking things to next anime level.

On Twitter, user @shonenclout shared the Japanese dubbed version that “goes harder than the original” and has already amassed 1.05 million views since its 23 December upload.

In this Japanese edition, ‘Miles Morales’ is voiced by Kensho Ono, the voice actor behind ‘Giorno Giovanna’ from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Mamoru Miyano plays ‘Peter Parker’, while ‘Gwen Stacy’ comes alive through Yuki Aoi.
