Marvel Studios has presented its first trailer for Avengers 4, and it’s a teary one. This also means that the film has an official name: Endgame, as speculated months back.
The footage shows the remaining Avengers—‘Iron Man’, ‘Captain America’, ‘Black Widow’, ‘Thor’, and the ‘Hulk’—in the aftermath of the undoing of ‘Thanos’. They are visibly distraught, but eager to face up to ‘Thanos’ and avenge their allies.
Also seen in the trailer are familiar faces ‘Hawkeye’ and ‘Ant-Man’, who will evidently play a hand at getting the squad back to its A-game.
Along with the teaser, Marvel Studios has revealed the official poster for Avengers: Endgame, confirming that the movie will be released on 26 April 2019. Its new purple logo, leaked back in May, could be in reference to the comeback of ‘Hawkeye’ or an homage to ‘Thanos’.
